Description:
Regan is a real charmer.  When her foster mom met Regan she showered her with kisses.  Regan is precious, playful and darn near perfect.  She is quite petite weighing in at about 8 pounds.  Regan spends her day at Le Bone Pet Spa, her foster mom's business, charming all the customers.  Everyone she meets makes a comment about how cute she is and asks if they can hold her.  When they do they are immediately greeted with kisses.  Regan enjoys playing and napping with the other Doxies in her home.  She can hold her own with big dogs and enjoys a game of tease with a Chesapeake Bay retriever who boards on a regular basis.  She has shown interest in the cats in her foster home but is not aggressive towards them.

Regan is potty trained but will not potty on leash.  She prefers to wander around the yard unattended and do her business in private.  She will definitely need a house with a yard or someone patient while she learns to potty on a leash.

I believe Regan will be O.K. with children, she has met some of my customer's children and seems to be fine.  I feel she would be best in a home with an animal companion or someone who spends most of the day at home.  She may will get into trouble if left alone for a long period of time.

Regan loves belly rubs and hugs.  She can be quite demanding when she is ignored.  She will jump up and push the back of my legs when she wants my attention.  She gets fed in her crate but she doesn't like to be in it once dinner is over.  Regan rides well in a crate in the car.  She sleeps in a dog bed in the kitchen with the other doxies but we're sure she would prefer sleeping with her human.
