Description:
Alexander was sprung from an East Texas shelter where he and his siblings were dropped off in the dog yard overnight!  First named for three of the seven dwarfs, they were found to have outgrown those traits and are ready for more glamorous names!  Zander is a handsome but small black and tan male with lots of energy!!!  He is very sweet, a bit shy at first but happy when he is shown some attention at all.  He loves to be held and is very playful and enjoys the company of the other dogs.
Zander is good with everyone and very playful with his siblings and warms up to humans once he knows you and feels safe.  Time will help and Zander is enjoying the new foster home with all of the soft beds and happy foster dogs!  

UPDATE:  Zander has been treated for heartworms and is doing great - he is totally heartworm free and ready for his new home!  Please help Zander find a perfect spot to call his own!
