Description: This is Jack! He and his two brothers were rescued from a very sad situation.
Jack is a beautiful Double Dapple boy, is 9 weeks old and weighs about 4 lbs. He is your typical happy go lucky, very busy, puppy and has one blue speckled eye and one eye that did not form properly. This pretty boy will need a home that has a lot of time and patience to be sure he grows into a well rounded loving boy. Jack will need house training, crate training, socialization and lots and lots of play time. If you work, he will need someone that is able to come home at lunch time and take care of him and spend time with him. Jack is a very loving puppy and loves to be with you, he loves toys and playing with his siblings. He also likes to play with his older foster doxie siblings. Dachshunds can live 15 years or more, so please do not take adopting a puppy lightly. If you are not sure where you will be in 10 or 15 years, or not sure if you will be able to commit for that long then, please check out some of our wonderful adult doxies looking for homes. Note: Puppies are a lot of work! If you have a very busy lifestyle, puppies are not for you, if you have young children or teenagers with lots of extra curricular activities, a dachshund puppy is probably not a good fit. ATDR is committed to making life long matches . If you can give Jack the time, love and patience he needs and deserves, please fill out an application. He is waiting for you!
