Special Needs: Today we completed Arthur'€™s dental cleaning. He had six teeth extracted. I don’t have any info for a foster for him, so is there someone I should call? He also has a bit of a cough and there was some mucus on his ET tube when we pulled it out after surgery so we took some chest x-rays. Dr. Matthyssen said some of his blood vessels looked enlarged so we are sending out a heartworm test. It was negative!

Meet Arthur Brando!  This movie star handsome little guy is new to ATDR, fresh from the Austin Animal Control hall of fame!  Arthur was an all time favorite among the staff and visitors and everyone that met him was won over by his charm!  That didn't go unnoticed by ATDR and he was wisked away to our fabulous vets at VCA Tanglewood for the works!  Funny vetted and heartworm negative, this guy will be ready for adoption soon!  He has clean and sparkley teeth to match his winning personality!  

He's a real lover boy. Just wants someone to talk to him and love on him.Arthur is  Leash broken, house trained, good with other dogs, going to be good with cats, loves people, beds and soft blankets. He's close to being crate trained now, and by next week he'll have it figured out. Very happy. Very loving. Very sociable. Couldn't ask for a better companion.
