Gracie is a two year old spayed female, heartworm negative, healthy and ready to go.
 
We were called by the shelter to "come get this longhaired dachshund we have for you," but as time goes by we are thinking there is probably not a bit of doxie in her. She could be a longhair Chihuahua/dachshund mix, or a longhaired Havanese mix, or even a Corgi/spaniel mix....at 22 lbs the Chihuahua is probably doubtful! One thing we ARE certain about, is that she is a happy, adorable girl who deserves a fabulous home.
 
Gracie is so cheerful! She always has that happy grin on her face. She loves to explore the yard while frequently checking in with mom for ear rubs. She has not ventured up on the big bed yet to join the puppy pile, but she is inching ever closer everyday and enjoys taking naps right by the bed while everyone else snoozes up top.  She is tall--we have just not been able to catch a photo of her standing up. She has a beautiful, well-proportioned square body so you will probably not be looking at the possibility of disc disease  in the future. She has a gorgeous, luxurious feathered tail that she proudly waves like a flag while exploring the yard.
 
This beautiful girl is looking for a very special home where her unique qualities will be appreciated. Lovely eyes gazing down into your soul, perky short ears, lovely feathered tail, happy grin....what more could you want in a loving, young pup bursting with charm?
