Emily was given to ATDR by a breeder and imagine our surprise when shortly after coming to us she gave birth to one puppy…Cocomo! Emily raised her puppy who was then adopted and is now ready for a new forever home of her own! Emily is a very sweet girl who prefers a quiet lifestyle and would love to have a person of her own who could spend a lot of time with her! She’s shy at first but warms up to understanding and kindness in a short time and will jump in your lap to snuggle and enjoy love and belly rubs. Many times she will look at you from across the room from the comfy doggy bed and soft blankies she has claimed for her own in order to receive encouragement to jump in your lap. She’s great with other dogs and shows no signs of food or toy aggression or aggression of any kind toward other dogs or people. She’s not at all fond of being in a crate, but she's also a good girl and never chews on anything she shouldn't nor tears up anything. She is doggie door trained, but she’s also learned what the words “outside Emily” mean when you open the door to outside and will run out and come back to the door to be let in.
