Gisella is a beautiful 40 plus pound basset and most likely dachshund mix female. She was one of several dogs that we sprung from the Harlengen shelter and the only one that was really not a dachshund. Once she'd made the six-hour drive we couldn't say no, so she is enjoying her knew digs with her kissing cousins - all dachshunds! Gisella (in German it is pronouced Geeese-la) was bred several times in her short life and is more than happy to have that part of her life in the rearview mirror! Gisella has finished her heart worm treatments and is healthy and strong now and ready to go to a great loving home. If you'd like a big girl, somewhat small for a basset -- Gisella is perfect! She's great with people, kids and dogs! Please consider this good natured beautiful girl for the home of her dreams.
