Beautiful little Darby was surrendered to a shelter by her owner...what a frightening thing to happen to a sweet girl who thought she was a family member in the only home she’d ever known. ATDR quickly jumped in to rescue Darby, placing her in a comfortable foster home where she's settling in nicely and will be loved and cared for until she finds a loving forever home. She weighs in at just 10 pounds right now but with nutritious meals should gain about two more. She’s a precious girl deserving of the very best! Darby's foster mom reports that she's an absolute DOLL who loves napping! She's getting along well with her foster siblings and has claimed her perch on the top of the the family couch! She loves sleeping burrowed under the covers in the big bed and two more of her favorite things are hunting for critters in the back yard and snuggling sweetly in her foster mom's lap! She's a precious tiny girl!
