Description:

Say hello to Dudley! He and six others are all settling into comfortable foster homes. ATDR recently took possession of these seven tiny Dachshunds, dubbed the “Springtime Seven,” who had been living in deplorable conditions. Sadly, their owner who passed away had been a hoarder, and the house these babies were found in was stacked several feet deep with trash. Even with all of this they are amazingly happy, loving and well adjusted!

Dudley is doing great, good with other dogs and good with humans. He is skittish at first but if you have patience he will warm up quickly! Dudley would like an experienced dachshund owner who understands the quirks of the breed and will let him learn to trust on his own terms. Dudley would not be a good apartment dog...he is so happy having a yard for the first time. He's using the doggie door and all of that is really helping with his housetraining. Dudley would not be great with small children or too much activity.

We know the perfect home is out there for Dudley, he is worth the extra TLC.
