Description:

This little beauty is Scarlett. She and her handsome brother Gus very sadly lost their beloved dad to a fatal traffic accident. When a close family friend contacted ATDR, of course we immediately took this sweet pair into our fold. They miss their daddy but are now sharing life in a comfortable foster home having their veterinary care brought up to speed.

Her foster mom reports that Scarlett is beautiful and super sweet. She looks up at you with adoring eyes. She likes to sit up like a squirrel, especially when she knows you want to put her to bed. Scarlett has to be fussed at at bedtime to go to sleep. Once you fuss at her she is quiet unless the cats in the house are getting into mischief! She loves to sit on your lap or right next to you. If she isn't there, her favorite spot is in the corner where two sofa pieces meet, behind the corner. She is often in squirrel sit up position when she is back there. She is not great with the cats but not awful. She wants them to run so she can chase them. Her foster mom's cats know better than to run so they stand their ground. She does call off pretty easily and will eventually settle down and leave them alone. She will pottie outside on a leash, but was probably pee pad trained in her previous home. She does pretty well in a crate.

Scarlett and Gus both can be barkers so will not be good for apartment or condo life. They will both need a house with a securely fenced yard. If you can find it in your heart to give Scarlett or both of these precious babies a loving home, please submit an adoption application. Either or both would soon become the best little friends and companions you could ever hope to share life with.
