Description:
Say hello to Shelly who prefers being called Ellie! This beautiful tiny girl recently came into rescue with seven other siblings/companions after their beloved mom passed away. None of these eight babies have been as socialized with people as other pups. Consequently, they are all a bit skittish and need to learn to enjoy human companionship. Ellie's foster mom reports that right now she’s trying to decompress with Sadie, one of her companions...being away from their pack is a bit confusing, and Ellie relies heavily on Sadie. When surrendered, it was reported that she may have a little favoritism toward men, but she would learn to share life with a male, female or couple. So far, Ellie has been a good girl following Sadie outside to do her potties. A pee pad is available if she chooses to use it.
When Ellie's vetting has been brought up to speed, she will be looking for a brand new forever home with someone of her very own who has another smaller pup to love and cherish her. She will definitely need a doggy friend to share life with. If that might be you, please submit an adoption application for “Shelly.” This uncertain little one is going to require patience, love and kindness to gain her trust. She's precious beyond words and will be oh so worth it...
