Jackson is a fun, happy, playful, energetic boy. Overall a great dog and ridiculously cute to boot. Jack loves nothing more than to play with his squeaky plush toys, chase tennis balls, and go for walks. He really enjoys being outside and would be very happy in a home with a backyard and possibly a doggy door so he can go in and out as often as he likes. An apartment home isn't out of the question but be prepared to take frequent walks and have plenty of room to play. Jackson needs an active person or family who will spend the time and give Jack the attention required in order to burn off his energy. He's great with kids. Jack is very smart and highly trainable. He actually prefers his toys over treats. Jackson is house trained and will tolerate being crated but he doesn't like the crate. He would prefer to sleep in a doggy bed or with his human(s) if allowed. So far he hasn't displayed any destructive behaviors in his foster home when left to free roam in the house. Jack is accustomed to living with other dogs but care needs to be taken when introducing him to new dogs. Jackson is one of those rare gift wrapped rescue dogs. He is healthy and happy. He was well cared for and much loved in his previous home but unfortunately his elderly owner couldn't take care of him any longer due to her own health problems. So hurry up and put your application in for Jackson. This guy is a mover and a shaker. He won't wait around for long...
