Description:Little Gidget was turned in to a kill shelter by her family who said they were moving and could not take her. On her owner surrender form, it said she was disciplined by SPANKING!! We think she is lucky they gave her up. As soon as we were notified she was there, we went right down to pick her up.
She is the cutest and sweetest little girl you could ever want to meet. Although she is a little over two years old, she acts like a puppy. She loves to race around and shake her stuffed toys, chase your hands and most of all, cuddle and give kisses. She is precious.
We are not sure how she is with small children, but based upon her behavior, we think she would do fine. She was not afraid or stressed out by the eight other dogs in her foster home when they greeted her.
She is learning the doggie door and seems to be pad trained, as well.
She is current on her vaccinations and spayed. Unfortunately, she is heart worm positive (seems like her family didn't take very good care of her). She will be ready for adoption in mid to late July, after she has completed her heartworm treatment and recuperation period.
Get your applications in on her quickly because she will have a line of people waiting to take her home and love her. And no more spankings for this precious baby girl!!
