Beanie Boy is a sweet, quiet and kind little gentleman of a Doxie. His short blondish red coat is spotless and his manly little dog body is beautiful. He has big, expressive eyes and a nose that misses nothing. Jellybean will watch and patiently wait for the other kids (read other spoiled doxies) in the family to move on before jumping into your lap to snuggle down and absorb all the love and attention you have to give him. He will ask for attention by patting your hand or face with his paw. His calm nature has won the hearts of all he's met since moving in with his foster family. From babies and small kids all the way up to the elderly and weak. He would thrive in a home where he could visit often with any age group. Therapy dog maybe? Even with his easy going nature he has spells of pure play when he and the other fur babies in the house wrestle, run and engage in a joyous playtime.
He and his sister (we think) were rescued from the Cleburne shelter and other than being a bit underweight and having very very long nails they were in good health. Jellybean is submissive and very close to his sister SweetPeeps. He does fret when she's away from him but other than that he's an ideal housemate. Together they make a great team. Once their vet checks are completed and any required treatments are done, if any, Beanie and his sister SweetPeeps will make someone the bestest friends furever.
