Gerta is a stunning 2 yr old wildboar colored smooth dachshund female who weighs about 14 lbs. She was an owner surrender to a local kill shelter with her sweet puppy Olivia. Gerta is a wonderful mother but is ready to send Olivia to a wonderful new home and get on with the business of getting healthy again. She is unfortunately heartworm positive and will be undergoing treatment for the next few months. As soon as she feels better she will be spayed and never have to worry about puppies again! Please consider giving Gerta the home she so deserves.
