Update 10/16/14: Felix is the SWEETEST BOY IN THE WORLD! He is an old soul in a very young, playful body. When he looks at you, it feels like he is peering into your very soul. He understands every word that is spoken to him. This is revealed by his intelligent gaze, and the tilt of his head while he is listening intently.
Felix is playful and loves to wrestle with the younger dogs in the house. He gets along well with everyone and loves to snuggle. When his foster mom is having some internet time he has to lie where he can stare up into her face with that look of adoration, and he has to have one paw touching her. Best case scenario is laying his head on the keyboard, but for some strange reason, foster mom tends to discourage this. He is a remarkable guy who has stayed extremely healthy ever since the day he was sprung from the shelter. He is up to date on all vaccinations, neutered, heartworm negative, and on monthly heartworm prevention.
Felix is the type of dog that comes along once in a great while. He seems to be very intuitive and empathetic to people, so he is the dog with which you could forge a very, very strong bond. **************************************************************** Felix has the most soulful eyes, and he tilts his head whenever you talk to him.
He is very affectionate to his foster and he is getting along well with the other foster dogs. He is working on crate training. He learned the ramp up to the big bed with one try. He is very calm when leashed. He has a small quirk--he does NOT like for his feet to be handled, but that is something that can be alleviated with a little work. We will learn more about Felix'spersonality and temperament in the next few weeks. Not tested with kids or cats.
